National Park Service
The event takes place on the beautiful 366 acre Vancouver National Historic Reserve parade grounds, owned and operated by the National Park Service. Fort Vancouver National Historic site will be open from 11 am to 7 pm on July 4th for a minimal fee, and will offer a variety of interpretive events, including tours, cultural demonstrations and living history activities throughout the day at the premiere historical archaeology site in the Pacific Northwest! 104th Division Institutional Training U.S. Army Reserve
Soldiers from the 104th Division will be handing out the orders to young boys and girls as they get put through the paces during the kid's games on the Parade Ground. Gunny Sack Races, Hula Hoop Competition for kids of all ages will be run every hour from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The U.S. Army Climbing Wall will also be on hand for kids to attempt an accent up the side of a rock challenged pathway.
The 104th Division Institutional Training, US Army Reserve has been stationed in the Vancouver Barracks for 60 years. The U.S. Army is a valued partner of the Historic Reserve Trust.

The Beaches Cabana is located on the grounds of the Reserve just across from Pearson Air Museum.
